The Russo Brothers are on a roll with their professional ventures. They've been announcing project after project, including their much-anticipated return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. But what they are working on outside the MCU is equally exciting. Over the past few years, they've explored a variety of new directions. Now, their latest project outside the MCU is set to make waves as Netflix has released the first detailed teaser for The Electric State, marking the return of Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown to Netflix and a reunion with MCU fame Chris Pratt, aka Star-Lord. The teaser is spectacular and not to be missed.
The Electric State Teaser Released
Directed by the visionary Russo Brothers and based on the graphic novel by Simon Stålenhag, The Electric State is set in an alternate version of the 1990s, a bleak world where robots live in exile and humanity has become alienated from reality. The fate of the world lies in the hands of an orphan, a smuggler, and a missing boy. Starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, The Electric State is a gripping story of survival, connection, and the fight to restore a fractured world.
The teaser introduces a post-uprising world where robots have lost their freedom, and humans have lost loved ones. Millie Bobby Brown’s character sits at the center of the narrative, having lost everything — until she discovers that her brother, presumed dead, is actually in control of a robot. Chris Pratt joins her on this adventure, and the teaser ramps up the excitement. The cartoon-like design of the robots adds a unique visual touch to the film’s aesthetic.
