The teaser for John Abraham's upcoming film has been unveiled. On Friday, the production team released a one-minute teaser for The Diplomat, featuring the actor portraying the real-life role of an Indian diplomat. Directed by Shivam Nair and penned by Ritesh Shah, the film draws inspiration from a true story that had a significant impact on the nation.

The teaser opens with John Abraham's character engaging with a visibly distressed Muslim woman. She identifies herself as an Indian citizen, and before she can elaborate, he offers her a glass of water, cautioning her, “Do not conceal anything, as it may complicate matters for you.”

As the minute-long teaser progresses, it suggests that this particular case is fraught with high stakes, indicating that the answers will be challenging to uncover. The Diplomat promises a wealth of drama and action, showcasing John in a fresh persona, complete with a stylish suit and a moustache. His character emphasizes the necessity of staying "dhai kadam" (two and a half steps) ahead of all parties involved.

Regarding the film's production, it is backed by T-Series, with Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, alongside John Abraham of JA Entertainment, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl of Wakaoo Films, Sameer Dixit, and Jatish Varma of Fortune Pictures, as well as Rakesh Dang of Seeta Films.
