Directed by Ganga Saptha Shikhara, the first look has generated decent buzz, with the title itself—The Devil's Chair—piquing the curiosity of audiences.

Director Ganga shared his thoughts on the film, saying, "It’s been a while since Telugu cinema has had a true horror film, and The Devil’s Chair aims to fill that gap with its intriguing narration, twists and turns." Though made on a moderate budget, Ganga promises impressive visuals, stunning VFX, and strong emotional depth. "Every character plays an essential role, and the story is unique. I’m confident this is a subject that hasn’t been explored in Telugu cinema before," he added.

AI Technology used in The Devil's Chair

One of the producers revealed that extensive use of AI technology has been incorporated into The Devil's Chair, particularly in the horror sequences, which will be a major highlight. The makers are planning to release the film in June 2025.

A special aspect of this film is Abhi, who is also making his directorial debut this year with the OTT film Chiranjeeva, starring Raj Tharun. Abhi plays a significant role in The Devil’s Chair and is excited about the project. "This film will present me in a completely new avatar," he shared.
