The long-awaited moment has arrived. The eagerly anticipated theatrical trailer for "L2E: Empuraan," featuring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran, has been released, significantly raising expectations for the film.

This trailer is a visual spectacle, drawing viewers into the intense political realm of Lucifer. The narrative centres on the enigmatic character of Steven Nedumpally, also known as Khureshi Ab'raam. Although he was once an MLA, he wields considerable power and influence within the Indian political arena. How does he maintain such control? What connections does he have with the international drug cartel? The film promises to explore these compelling questions.

Mohanlal captivates the audience with his commanding portrayal of Steven Nedumpally, seamlessly embodying the mysterious Khureshi Ab'raam. His formidable presence is sure to energize theatres. The film also boasts an impressive supporting cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Abhimanyu Singh, and Jerome Flynn, known for his role in Game of Thrones, among others, enhancing the film's narrative depth.

"L2E: Empuraan" serves as the sequel to the 2019 hit "Lucifer" and is the second instalment in the Lucifer trilogy. The story is crafted by Murali Gopy, while the project is co-produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan under their respective banners, Aashirvad Cinemas and Sree Gokulam Movies.

The film is set to be released simultaneously in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil on March 27, 2025. Star producer Dil Raju's SVC Cinemas will handle distribution in the Telugu states, Anil Thadani's AA Films will manage the release in North India, while Hombale Films will oversee distribution in Karnataka. Sree Gokulam Movies will take charge of the film's release in Tamil Nadu.
