Netflix’s upcoming movie ‘The Deliverance’ is based on the haunting story of Latoya Ammons and her family. Filmmaker Lee Daniels adapted this bone-chilling tale and dubbed it Demon House before deciding to rename it The Deliverance due to some conflicts with another movie of the same name.   

The star-studded ensemble is led by Andra Day, alongside Omar Epps, Demi Singleton, Miss Lawrence, Anthony B. Jenkins, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Mo’Nique playing prominent characters.   

Written by Daniels, Elijah Bynum and David Coggeshall, this mystery packed horror film revolves around a troubled family moving into a new house when they start experiencing paranormal activities. A struggling single mother gets torn apart as she battles in inner conflicts with the mysterious supernatural powers trying to harm her children.   

After moving into a mysterious house, a struggling mother must face down her demons in order to save her children’s souls.
