Kareena Kapoor Khan's film The Buckingham Murders still struggles at the Box office. Despite being a new release, the movie is failing to mint beyond what Sohum Shah's re-released film Tumbbad is earning at the Box Office. They both stand in competition, and while Tumbbad is leading, The Buckingham Murders does come close in terms of Box Office collection.

The Buckingham Murders Day 2 Box Office

The Buckingham Murders minted Rs. 1.90 crores on day 2, according to a report on Sacnilk. Directed by Hansal Mehta, The Buckingham Murders saw a slight rise in collections from day one, which does not seem very good for the movie at this point. This is despite the good word-of-mouth since Friday evening.

Buckingham Murders Day 1 Box Office

The final day 1 numbers for The Buckingham Murders were estimated at Rs. 1.62 crores. Given that, the film produced by Ektaa Kapoor has minted a total net of Rs. 3.52 crores in two days.

Tumbbad Box Office so far

On day 2, Sohum Shah's Tumbbad earned Rs. 2.20 crores at the Box Office. The movie had minted Rs. 1.50 crores on day one, and thus, the total collections of the film currently stand at Rs. 3.70 crores, which is above The Buckingham Murders by nearly 0.20 crores.

It is to be noted that Tumbbad is also making noise because the sequel of the film – Tumbbad 2 – has been announced with the re-release itself. The movie gained a fan following post its digital release and the fans who were awaiting its re-release are finally going to theatres to experience the movie on big screen, which they could not back in 2018.

As for The Buckingham Murders, the buzz for the film is slow and viewers are liking the movie only in the original version over the Hindi dub. It appears that the only Hindi speaking crowd (mainly from North India) is thus not impressed with the film.
