Here he is again, in Hit Man, a crazy, silly, funny film about a professor who poses as a fake hitman to entrap potential murderers. No fights. No blood. No cheese. A great turnaround.

Voting for Priyansh. He’s a first-time voter from Delhi. He wants the government to increase employment opportunities. But that’s not what hordes of young women took away from his now-viral video clip. “I’ll employ you...as my husband,” one top comment reads. The election is over, Priyansh got the popular vote. Now that’s a photo we’d like on a campaign billboard.

Feeling the Saltburn. Sabrina Carpenter’s music video for Please Please Please stars her IRL boo, Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan. The video shows Keoghan being arrested for robbing banks and fighting; Carpenter keeps returning to jail to pick him up. Sample lyrics: Heartbreak is one thing / my ego’s another/ I beg you, don’t embarrass me...” Imagine saying that to your boyfriend for the world to hear. We’re watching you, Keoghan.

Not going with the flow. At 1,030 feet, Yuntai Sky Fall is China’s largest waterfall. Now, a hiker has captured video of water actually gushing out of a large pipe at the top. Yuntai Geo Park officials have made things worse. They released a statement from, of all things, the waterfall’s POV, saying, it was done “only so I would look my best to meet my friends”. It’s made everyone stop gushing about it.

On the Up & Up. Coldplay doesn’t like a warming planet either. The band announced that they’ve cut their Music of the Spheres tour emissions by 59%. How? Kinetic dance floors that recharged batteries, power bikes that fans pedalled to generate energy. They’re also planting one tree for every ticket sold. They can’t fix you. Don’t stop them from fixing the planet.

Putting our claws away. Heena Punwani, Mumbai pastry chef and founder of Maska Bakery, isn’t loving the Bear 3 trailer. It shows chefs screaming in kitchens, plates being flung at walls, and rage against the kneading machine. “How about we STOP accepting toxic behaviour in the guise of genius?” she asks in an Insta post. “How about we stop glorifying abusive work environments under the pretence of chasing ‘perfection’?” We’ll have what she’s having.

Packing our cheese. The Kolkata Metro now plays Tom and Jerry cartoons to entertain kids on their rides. Locals are miffed – those shows can get pretty loud. We, however, are secretly thrilled. Hello, most ’90s kids are still kids. We’d like some entertainment en route too. How about Doraemon and Shin Chan next?
