The makers dropped an intriguing trailer to give a glimpse into the promising documentary ‘The Beach Boys.’ In the trailer, we witness several popular musicians, including the original bandmates and Janelle Monáe, as they share their experiences. The docufilm traces their group origins and how they were participating in the creation of California dreams with a blend of revolutionary imagination. It celebrates passionate musical dreams and revolves around the success and rise of the pop stars as they mark the beginning of revolutionary music with Californian dreams consisting of cars and bikini girls.

It follows the lives of three brothers: Brian, Dennis, and Carl, who team up with their cousin Mike Love and friend Al Jardine to form the music band The Beach Boys.

Helmed by Frank Marshall and Thom Zimny, The Beach Boys is written by Mark Monroe. White Horse Pictures backs up the docufilm with producers Marshall, Irving Azoff, Nicholas Ferrall, Jeanne Elfant Festa, and Aly Parker.
