Netflix and Red Chillies have opted to premiere the series after the conclusion of the IPL. This strategic decision aims to redirect audience focus from cricket back to Bollywood with a significant show. “It’s a well-thought-out strategy, and the show will be promoted throughout the IPL league. While the show boasts a strong ensemble cast, the two lead roles, featuring a star and an emerging actor, are portrayed by Bobby Deol and Lakshya,” a source close to the project disclosed.

Additionally, the source highlighted the inclusion of several cameos, notably featuring the three Khans—Aamir, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh. “The three Khans—Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir—will have special appearances in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, and their roles are expected to generate considerable buzz upon release. Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt will also appear as themselves, utilizing meta-references to reality.
