The first look poster of the upcoming Tamil film Thandakaaranyam, starring actors Gettu (Attakathi) Dinesh, and Kalaiyarasan in the lead roles, was released by the makers on social media on Friday. The film is written and directed by filmmaker Athirai Athiyan and backed by Pa Ranjith. A release date of the film is yet to be announced.

Thandakaaranyam first look poster out

Thandakaaranyam is an upcoming Tamil film starring actors Gettu Dinesh and Kalaiyarasan in the lead roles. On Friday, the makers on Friday released the first look poster of the film. The film is written and directed by Athirai Athiyan, who earlier made Irandam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu.

The first look poster shows the lead actors who are looking away, as a burning tree divides them. The technical crew of Thandakaaranyam includes Justin Prabhakaran scoring the music, with Pratheep Kaliraja cranking the camera. Selva RK is handling the edits of the film, and T Ramalingam is the art director. The film produced by Pa Ranjith under Neelam Productions banner. Sai Devanand, S Sai Venkateswaran and Pa Ranjith serve as producers.

Apart from Dinesh and Kalaiyarasan, the film also stars Riythvika, Vinsu Sam, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Muthukumar, Arul Dass, Saranya Ravichandran, and Bala Saravanan. The production of the film has been completed, with a release date yet to be announced.

Dinesh’s Lubber Pandhu running successfully

Dinesh was last seen in Lubber Pandhu which is running in theatres currently. Dinesh, who was earlier called Attakathi Dinesh, played the role of Gettu, is now credited Gettu Dinesh. The sports family drama, is directed by debutant Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, and became a commercial success which also received critically good response.

Lubber Pandhu also stars Harish Kalyan, Sanjana, Swasika, Bala Saravanan, and others. The post-theatrical rights of the film have been Disney+ Hotstar. An OTT release date is yet to be announced.
