Srijit Mukherji, who is known to ace the Puja release market, is all set with his new thriller Tekka this year. After Zulfiqar, the director and Dev collaborated on this film. The teaser will be released on Friday. Before that, Srijit shared an update about the film. 

Srijit has been working with Anupam Roy since his first film Autograph. Anupam generally has songs in or is the music director of, Srijit's films. Tekka is not an exception. This time, Ranojoy Bhattacharjee is an added surprise. The two musicians will be working together. Earlier, it was reported that Anupam would not compose for Tekka.  

Srijit shared a photo with the two and wrote, “My music mate @aroyfloyd and one of the most exciting new songmakers Ranajoy Bhattacharjee come together for the first time in #Tekka'. 

The director mentioned Dev, Swastika Mukherjee, and Rukmini Maitra in this photo. The film has Dev, Swastika, and Rukmini in the lead roles. The poster has come out. Dev introduced the characters. Swastika plays a journalist, Ira. Rukmini plays a cop, Maya. Kaushik Sen and Anirban Chakrabarti also play important characters in the film. The film, produced by Dev Entertainment Ventures Limited, will be released on October 8.
