GV Prakash, the actor and composer, is set to star in a sea fantasy drama called Kingston. The film's teaser was dropped by the creators on Thursday, January 9. Directed by newcomer Kamal Prakash, Kingston also marks GV Prakash’s 25th film in the lead role.

Kingston teaser featuring GV Prakash has just dropped!

GV Prakash, known for composing music for around 100 films, is set to take the lead in his 25th movie, the upcoming Tamil flick Kingston. This one’s being described as a sea fantasy adventure, and the first look poster just dropped on social media. Following that, the teaser was released on Thursday.

The teaser kicks off with some fishermen reported missing after heading out to sea. As the scene shifts to a ship battling a storm, it hints at some mysterious forces at work. The main conflict of the film remains under wraps for now. 

Kingston is scheduled to hit theaters on March 7. 

The team and talent behind Kingston

Kamal Prakash is making his directorial debut with Kingston. The film features GV Prakash and Divya Bharathi as the female lead, reuniting after their previous project, Bachelor. The cast also includes Antony, Chethan, Kumaravel, and Sabu Mohan, among others, in key roles.

Gokul Benoy is handling the cinematography, while GV Prakash Kumar is in charge of the music. Dhivek has written the dialogues, and San Lokesh is taking care of the editing. S.S. Moorthy is the art director for the film. It’s being produced by Zee Studios and Parallel Universe.
