Teaser Launch of Barbarik: Director Maruthi Predicts a Blockbuster Hit

The film Barbarik, produced by Vijaypal Reddy Adidhala under the Vaanara Celluloid banner and directed by Mohan Srivatsa, boasts a prominent cast that includes Sathyaraj, Satyam Rajesh, Vasishta N Simha, Sanchi Rai, Udaya Bhanu, Kranthi Kiran, VTV Ganesh, Motta Rajendran, and Meghana in significant roles. The motion poster has already generated considerable anticipation for the film, and today, director Maruthi unveiled the teaser.

The teaser is replete with captivating dialogues, including: "There are three ways to destroy yourself... This is not something you or I can do; only a person with a sharp mind can. One person stepped on a snake’s tail, and the snake is about to bite him. What happens to the person who made him step on it?" It emphasizes the crucial roles of Sathyaraj, Vasishta, and Satyam Rajesh. The visuals and characters presented in the teaser are of exceptional quality. Following the teaser's release, a special event was organized.

At the event, director Maruthi stated that he did not directly participate in the production of Barbarik, but rather provided suggestions and guidance. He acknowledged the inherent risks associated with the genre and conveyed this to Mohan and Raajiesh. They embarked on the project with considerable confidence. He noted that Vijay Sir Garu made significant investments in the film, quickly establishing himself as a prominent producer. Maruthi is also collaborating with Vijay Garu on another venture for ZEE Telugu. He praised Mohan for his dedication to the film, emphasizing that Barbarik has been crafted with great care. He commended Ramesh Reddy for his exceptional cinematography and highlighted the impressive music provided by the Infusion Band. Maruthi expressed that the film will present a unique interpretation of a mythological character for contemporary audiences and is poised to achieve significant success. He mentioned Sathyaraj Sir's involvement, recalling his previous work in Baahubali, and noted that Sathyaraj readily accepted the role after appreciating the script. Maruthi expressed hope for strong support for the film.

Sathyaraj remarked that for the Barbarik team, each day feels celebratory. He described the film as a quintessential commercial venture, stating that they are all now 'Raja Saabs'. He shared that director Mohan presented the story to him, which he found captivating, emphasizing that the narrative is the true hero of the film. Producers Vijaypal Reddy and Raajiesh have shown great consideration for the team. Satyam Rajesh will accompany him throughout the production. Sathyaraj mentioned that his character is notably distinct, as he aspires to be recognized as an aged action hero, and believes this film will contribute to that image. He confirmed that he has been asked to provide his own voice for the Telugu version, having previously been dubbed in Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil. He is confident that this film will achieve remarkable success.

Sathyaraj Sir was so passionate about his character that he continued filming late into the night, even in the rain. Satyam Rajesh has been a significant support. Just as Barbarik wields the Trishul, I have three key assets: Ramesh as the Director of Photography, the music from the Infusion Band, and editor Martand K Venkatesh.
