Patang is a unique sports comedy-drama centered around the exhilarating world of kite flying, a fresh addition to Indian cinema’s sports genre, which has traditionally been dominated by cricket, rugby, football, and the like. This film introduces a talented cast of newcomers, including lead actors Vamsi Pujit, Preethi Pagadala, and Pranav Kaushik. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Hyderabad’s bustling localities, Patang presents the city in a way that audiences have never experienced before.

So far, the teaser and two songs from the film have been released, garnering an overwhelmingly positive response from viewers.

The legendary singer SP Charan plays a pivotal role in the movie, and rumors suggest that several surprise cameo appearances will be revealed in the trailer.

Currently in the final stages of post-production, the team is focused on perfecting the film’s climactic CG sequences, which are crucial to the story. With confidence in their work, Team 'Patang' is gearing up for the film’s global release on December 27th, perfectly timed to kick off the festive Sankranthi season. The main promotions will kickstart soon.
