With all the buzz and the reactions surrounding Empuraan, Malayalam movie fans are eagerly anticipating Mohanlal's performance in Tharun Moorthy's Thudarum. The excitement for the film is growing daily, but it seems to have sparked some false reports on social media. On Tuesday, the film was trending, fueled by a now-famous poster of Mohanlal, which suggested that a promo song for Thudarum would be released soon. However, director Tharun Moorthy has denied this, and Mohanlal added to the conversation by sharing a new poster with a fun caption. This much-anticipated Malayalam film, featuring Shobana as well, is set to premiere in theaters on April 25, 2025.

Fans excitedly circulated a poster of Mohanlal, suggesting that a promotional song with the lead actor would be released shortly. However, Thudarum director Tharun Moorthy has stepped in on Instagram to clarify the situation. The acclaimed director, known for his work on Operation Java and Saudi Vellakka, posted the poster on his Instagram stories and remarked, "The idea is great, but it doesn't match our vibe."

Not long after, Mohanlal, the lead star of Thudarum, unveiled a fresh poster featuring himself alongside Shobana. While he didn’t specifically mention the promo song poster, he playfully captioned it, “Posters may come and go… but here’s one you can actually trust.”

Fans have really enjoyed the caption, flooding the comments with heart emojis.

Thudarum tells the story of Shanmugham, a taxi driver who has a deep bond with his car. Shobana portrays his wife, Lalitha, and the sneak peeks we've seen highlight their fantastic chemistry. The cast also includes Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, and Thomas Mathew.

In addition to Thudarum, Mohanlal will appear in Sathyan Anthikad’s Hridayapoorvam, which stars Malavika Mohanan as well. He’s also set to feature in a film by Mahesh Narayanan alongside Mammootty.
