The initial glimpse of Anupam Kher's directorial venture, Tanvi The Great, was revealed on Monday. Anupam shared a short clip from the anticipated film on Instagram. The teaser presents a touching narrative focused on a young girl named Tanvi, although her face remains hidden throughout the video.

In the footage, Tanvi is depicted relocating to a mountainous area. As a school student, she engages in various activities such as playing the piano, taking photographs, and enjoying walks in nature. Coming from an army family, the clip suggests her aspiration to join the military. It concludes with Tanvi stating, “Mama, Tanvi is ready.”

In his post sharing the first look, Anupam expressed in both English and Hindi, “First Look: I decided to create #TanviTheGreat nearly four years ago! It then took four years to write and bring it to fruition!”

He continued, “Now the moment has arrived to share this 'piece of my heart' with all of you! But slowly and with much love! (Red Heart emoji). Is she extraordinary? Is she unique? Does she possess a superpower? We are uncertain. What we do know is that… Tanvi is different but equally valuable! (Fire and red heart emojis).”

Regarding Tanvi The Great, the film is produced under the Anupam Kher Studios banner, featuring music by Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani, in partnership with the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). In a recent interview with news agency ANI, Anupam discussed the difficulties encountered in bringing Tanvi The Great to life.

I did not approach any studio to seek funding, nor did I search for any investors. The individuals who initially financed the film will gradually reveal their stories. It would have been simpler for me to approach someone and express my desire to create this film, but I chose not to do so. I aimed to produce the film driven by my own beliefs. Following a path of personal conviction can be isolating, and solitude often brings a sense of fear. However, ultimately, I have come to understand that the work I have produced is truly my own, he stated.
