Gaurav Arora on his character in Tanaav 2
When asked if he felt an added pressure to play his role well in Tanaav 2 since the first season was hit, Gaurav said, "Initially, there was a feeling of pressure. I transferred the pressure on the two gentlemen (Sudhir Mishra and E Niwas)." The actor added that he enjoyed playing the character of Fareed Mir/ Al Damishq in the series.
Arora continued, "More than any pressure, it was their (directors') responsibility since they chose me to play it, they must have seen something (in me). I enjoyed playing Fareed. I was in safe hands, good directors and co-stars. There was no pressure on me as such." Gaurav mentioned that he had to prep for his role in the web show.
"It did require a lot of prep. Kashmir can be sensitive to a lot of people. So that is a responsibility as an actor, which I did before I came on the set. I did my homework," stated Gaurav. The actor further quipped that Fareed Mir is a wonderful character for any actor to play because of its arc.

Once the series premieres on September 6, Tanaav 2 can be streamed with your OTTplay Premium subscription as well.
