After the success of Tanaav, the makers renewed the web series for a second season. Directed by Sudhir Mishra and E Niwas, Tanaav 2 marks the return of Manav Vij as Kabir Farooqui. He is back with Special Task Force group in the action-thriller series. Before Tanaav 2 releases on SonyLIV, OTTplay exclusively interviewed Manav, who opened up about his prep for the action sequences in the web show. The actor spoke about a new technique he learned during the shoot.

In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, Manav Vij revealed there was more preparation required for action sequences for the second season of Tanaav. The actor mentioned a coach, who works for Hollywood movies, was appointed on the set. 

"We did a 5-day workshop. We would go in the morning. And for the first time in my life, he (the coach) told me how to breathe while holding a gun. It is very important to be comfortable with gun handling. Unhone hume train kiya. You will be able to see something good in action this time: our agility and presence of mind," said Manav.

The actor added that looking good while doing action is a different case. He believes that having a presence of mind is very important during intense action sequences. "While doing action, presence of mind is important because you can get injured also. It's not very safe. But jo presence of mind iss baar raha, I was very secure ki nahi kuch hoga," stated Vij.

Manav also revealed that he gives respect to the script and the demand and emotion of the action sequences as an actor. "Action is not just for action, there is an emotion for it. There is a reason for it," he added.

In the second season of Tanaav, Gaurav Arora joins the series as the main antagonist. The series will feature a clash between Kabir Farooqui and Fareed Mir.
