Tanaav 2 is one of the highly anticipated releases of this month. Directed by Sudhir Mishra and E Niwas, the web series is set to premiere this week on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium. The second season marks the return of Manav Vij as Kabir Farooqui. He will be seen clashing with Gaurav Arora's Al Damishq/ Fareed Mir in Tanaav 2. The new character poster of Gaurav unravels a few details about his role in the series.

The streaming platform shared a character poster of Gaurav Arora from Tanaav 2. It is an introduction to his character Al Damishq. His character is introduced as an ISIS-trained militant, who is 'on a mission to avenge his father's death and destroy India'. Al Damishq/ Fareed Mir is the son of Mir Sahaab in Tanaav 2.
Apart from Gaurav's character details, the makers introduced Shashank Arora as Junaid Sheikh. His character is described as a 'walking weapon of chaos and terror'. On the other hand, Sumit Kaul's character Umar Riyaz has been described as the 'most awaited and the most dangerous militant leader'.

In an interview with IANS, Gaurav Arora opened up about his preparation for Sudhir Mishra and E Niwas' web show, Tanaav 2. The actor said, "I trained for seven days a week. My trainer was ruthless. He was a military guy himself, and he was very strict. We used to train from 8:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m., under the sun. He taught us how to assemble a gun, how to aim, how to shoot, how to walk with a gun, and basic etiquette."
Arora further revealed how he was also taught how to hold a gun on a fence while taking care of himself and others around him. The web series also stars Rajat Kapoor, Sumit Kaul, Shashank Arora, Satyadeep Misra, Ekta Kaul, and several others.
