Odela 2 teaser: Director Ashok Teja's supernatural thriller, Odela 2, serves as a sequel to Sampath Nandi's 2022 film, Odela Railway Station, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia in the role of a sadhvi. The teaser for the film was unveiled during the Mahakumbh event on Saturday.

While the original film, Odela Railway Station, was categorized as a crime thriller, Odela 2, which also includes Hebah Patel reprising her role from the first instalment, ventures into the realm of the supernatural. The teaser, lasting one minute and fifty-two seconds, offers limited information but suggests that Tamannaah's character, Shiva Shakthi, arrives in the village of Odela, which is under the protection of the deity Odela Mallanna Swamy, to confront an evil force that seeks to dominate the five elements. The film's music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, with cinematography by Soundar Rajan S. Sampath is credited with the story, screenplay, dialogues, and direction supervision.

Following the unveiling of the Odela 2 teaser in Prayagraj, Tamannaah expressed her sentiments, stating, “We initiated this film with a modest concept, yet I consider myself fortunate. I am confident that the team will receive abundant blessings and financial success for their efforts in creating this film. I feel privileged that we premiered the teaser here, as it would not have had the same impact if conducted elsewhere.” In her Instagram post sharing the teaser, she remarked, “When the devil returns, the divine surges forth to protect its land and its legacy.” During the launch event, the team revealed that Tamannaah had studied the body language of sadhus in preparation for her role.

Regarding Odela 2, the film features notable performances from Vasishta N Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy in significant roles. The release date for the film has not yet been disclosed, although the teaser suggests that it will be available soon. Production commenced in Kashi last year, with D Madhu and Sampath serving as producers under the banners of Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks.
