Bhuvan Bam made his OTT debut with Taaza Khabar in 2023. The comedian and actor impressed everyone with his acting skills in the web show, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Earlier this year, Taaza Khabar season 2 was announced. A few days after the announcement, Bhuvan announced the show's wrap. And now, the comedian and actor teased the release of his web show's second season.
Bhuvan Bam on Taaza Khabar 2's release
In Taaza Khabar, Bhuvan Bam essayed the character of Vasant Gawade aka Vasya, and was appreciated for his performance. A while ago, the comedian and actor shared a video on his official Instagram account. He posted a message for his fans and updated them about Taaza Khabar 2's release. Bhuvan revealed that the web series would be released in September 2024. However, he didn't reveal the release date. Check out his video right below:
Sharing the video on IG, Bhuvan captioned his post, "I’M FREAKIN EXCITED! Can you guess the date? (sic)." The first season of Taaza Khabar featured Shriya Pilgaonkar, J. D. Chakravarthy, Deven Bhojani, Mahesh Manjrekar, Shilpa Shukla, and several others. The series comprised six episodes.
Bhuvan Bam collaborates with Swanand Kirkire
Earlier this month, Bhuvan shared photos with Swanand Kirkire on social media. The singer has lent his voice for a song in Taaza Khabar 2.
Sharing his experience of collaborating with the senior musician, Bhuvan mentioned, "I was in 11th standard when I watched Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. Was taken aback when Baawra Mann played in the movie. swanandkirkire sir’s voice has stayed with me since then. Never thought I’ll get the honour to witness his magic in person. Today we recorded a track for TaazaKhabarS2 with him (sic)."
