Swargam, a Malayalam dramedy directed by Rejis Antony and produced by Dr. Lizy K. Fernandez & Team for CN Global Movies, hit theaters last November and is now set to make its OTT debut. The film, featuring Aju Varghese, has secured a streaming deal, and the announcement just dropped about when you can catch it online.

Sun Network has acquired the digital rights for Swargam, and they’ve revealed that it will start streaming on Sun NXT on January 31, 2025. The film was penned by Dr. Lizy, with the screenplay and dialogues crafted by Rejis Anthony and Rose Rejis. The cast includes notable names like Johny Antony, Ananya, Manju Pillai, Sijoy Varghese, Vineeth Thattil, Sajin Cherukayil, and Abhiram Radhakrishnan, among others.

Swargam tells the story of two neighboring families. One is a lower middle-class family that might struggle with money, but they’re rich in happiness. The other family is wealthy, yet they seem to lack any real peace or joy in their lives. From the outside, it looks like the rich family has it all, but the truth is quite the opposite.

Swargam dives into the everyday struggles of a family, showcasing their emotional ups and downs while emphasizing the significance of family ties and the strength found in love, faith, and unity to tackle life's hurdles.

Although the film didn't do great at the box office, it received praise for its authentic and relatable depiction of two Christian families in central Kerala. The cinematography by S Saravanan, which beautifully captured the lush landscapes of Pala and Thodupuzha, was highlighted as one of the film's standout features.

On another note, Aju Varghese is keeping busy with another OTT release this week. He’s part of Tovino Thomas’ thriller Identity, set to premiere on Zee5 on January 31. Plus, he’ll be appearing in the upcoming Malayalam web series Love Under Construction, marking his third project for Disney+ Hotstar.
