The second season of "Suzhal: The Vortex," a crime drama series starring Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh in the principal roles, is now accessible for streaming on Prime Video. This series is offered in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Suzhal The Vortex stands out as one of the successful long-format series in the Tamil entertainment industry. Co-created by Pushkar and Gayatri, the inaugural season of this crime drama received an enthusiastic response from audiences. Subsequently, Prime Video approved the production of a second season. Promoted as a more expansive and star-studded installment, the second season has been made available on the streaming platform as of February 28. Viewers can enjoy the series in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, with English subtitles provided.

The second season features actors Aishwarya Rajesh and Kathir reprising their roles as Nandini and Sakkarai, respectively. This season continues the narrative established in the first but explores a different path and setting. It unfolds in Kaalipattinam during the Ashtakaali festival. The plot thickens when lawyer Chellappa, who is defending Nandini—currently imprisoned for the murder of her abuser—is discovered dead. SI Kathir is assigned to the case and must uncover the identity of the murderer.

Suzhal 2: Who are the new cast members for this season?  

The new season introduces actors Lal, Saravanan, Manjima Mohan, Kayal Chandran, Gouri G Kishan, Samyuktha Viola Viswanathan, Monisha Blessy, Rini, Shrisha, Abhirami Bose, Nikhila Sankar, Kalaivani Bhaskar, Ashwini Nambiar, and Chandini Tamilarasan.

This eight-episode season is directed by Bramma and Sarjun KM, with cinematography by Abraham Joseph and music composed by Sam CS. The editing of the series is handled by Richard Kevin.
