Vikram Chatterjee has something to surprise his fans regularly. He was the messiah of the street dogs in Pariah. He changed his look, stunned the audience, and gave grizzling action sequences to the audience. Now he is in a different mood. He smoked a cigarette in a wet body and shared the video on social media. 

Vikram actually shared the good news with his fans through the video. This 16-second-long video is the first teaser of his new film Surya, directed by Shiladitya Moulik, where he plays the eponymous character. Madhumita Sarcar and Darshana Banik will also be in the film. 

Vikram promised to share a piece of good news on Tuesday on social media. He said that the news would be public on Wednesday afternoon. The first look teaser of Surya was released accordingly. Vikram will be in a romantic avatar. Madhumita plays Uma and Darshana plays Diya. The majority of the shooting took place in North Bengal. 

According to news sources, the film has similarities with the Marathi film Deva and the Malayalam film Charlie. This is because every film has the same producer who wants to make a Bengali film with such a subject. Shiladitya Moulik was assigned to direct the film. Shiladitya can beautifully tell relationship stories, which was proved in the film Sweater. Now is the turn of Surya. There are four songs in the movie, sung by Silajit, Kinjal, Timir, and Somlata. Shiladitya and Prasen were the lyricists. Loydeep was the composer. The film will be released on July 19.
