Jack is the latest film featuring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, which premiered on April 10, 2025. Although there was a reasonable amount of anticipation surrounding the release, the comedy did not meet the expectations set by its promotional efforts. Siddhu Jonnalagadda appears to still be influenced by his role in DJ Tillu, a fact that was noticeable in his portrayal in Jack. Unfortunately, the storytelling approach of Jack did not resonate with the audience.

OTTplay has previously announced that Netflix acquired the digital rights to the film for a substantial sum and was expected to begin streaming it in the second week of May 2025. However, according to a source, the digital release may be moved up. Reports indicate that Netflix intends to stream the film by the end of April 2025.

This is happening as Netflix has paid extra bucks to the makers to stream the film in advance. This is the new trend that is being followed in Telugu cinema. If a film flops, the makers make a deal with the OTT platform to stream the film early. The same happened with films like Game Changer, which was out on OTT within a month of its release.

Bommarillu Bhaskar directed the film, which is an action comedy. Jack is a rookie who wants to become a RAW agent and helps the force on a special mission. Though the story sounds quite good, the narration disappointed one and all.

The film Jack faced significant rejection from audiences, leading to its removal from theaters just three days after its premiere. Vaishnavi Chaitanya, known for her early fame, portrayed the female lead but seemed ill-suited for her role in this production, which featured Prakash Raj in a prominent part. It remains to be seen when Netflix will reveal the release date for Jack.
