Actors Suriya and Trisha are set to collaborate once again after a significant interval, with the film directed by actor and filmmaker RJ Balaji. This project holds particular significance for Trisha, as she commenced her work on Suriya 45 coinciding with her 22nd anniversary in the film industry. Notably, Trisha made her acting debut in Suriya's film Mounam Pesiyadhe.

Trisha expressed that this moment signifies “one full circle” and conveyed her “honour” in reuniting with him for this project.

Suriya 45 is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and is both written and directed by RJ Balaji. The film features music composed by Sai Abhyakkar, who has taken over from AR Rahman, with cinematography by GK Vishnu. In this film, Suriya is anticipated to portray a lawyer. The release date has not yet been disclosed, and production is currently taking place in Pollachi.
