However, it is somewhat disappointing that it took Gopichand Malineni the entire extended weekend to reach this milestone, which falls short of initial expectations for the film.

As of day four of Jaat's worldwide box office collection, Mythri Movie Makers, the production company behind the film, announced via social media that Jaat had generated ₹49.30 crore in gross revenue in India by Sunday. This total places the film's extended opening weekend earnings just below ₹50 crore. Industry insiders report that the film's international collections are approximately ₹5 crore. Notably, the film also saw an increase in overseas earnings on Sunday, grossing $200,000 (₹1.6 crore) for the day. Consequently, Jaat's total worldwide collections stand at around ₹54-55 crore after four days, confirming that it has successfully crossed the ₹50 crore threshold globally.

Can Jaat recover at the box office?

The limited significance of this achievement is evident when considering that Sunny's earlier film, Gadar 2, surpassed this figure on its very first day. Additionally, Salman Khan's Sikandar, which has been labeled as underperforming, managed to earn ₹54 crore on its opening day just a few weeks ago. The future success of Jaat hinges on its ability to maintain momentum and avoid a significant drop on Monday. The outcome of this critical test will ultimately influence the film's overall longevity.
