Nara Rohith was once one of the most bankable actors in Telugu cinema. But he faded after giving back-to-back flops. He is now ready with his new film Sundarakanda whose teaser was revealed today and it looks quite hilarious. Sundarakanda is about the character of Siddharth played by Nara Rohit.

He is way past his marriageable age but is still a bachelor as he is looking for those five qualities in a girl. All this is established superbly in the teaser. Even after a long gap, Nara Rohith appears decent with his looks and screen presence.

Naresh plays his father in the film and he elevates the comedy with his satire on Nara Rohith's character and this looks cool. The background score by Leon James is also cool and elevates the proceedings to another level. Sridevi Vijay Kumar is playing the female lead and she is also making a comeback to Telugu cinema after a long gap.

Sundarakanda cast and crew

Vasuki Anand, Comedian Satya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Abhinav Gomatham, Viswant, Rupa Lakshmi, Raghu Babu, Amrutham Vasu, and Adhurs Raghu will be seen in key roles in the film. Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli have produced this film which is a laugh riot.

Speaking at the event, hero Nara Rohith stated that the massive gap in his career was due to personal reasons and he is back on track and will do back-to-back films. The teaser has been executed in a very light-hearted note and stories of the hero being old and looking for a perfect bride have been showcased in many films.

What difference does Sundarakanda make, only time will tell. The makers will soon launch the theatrical trailer of the film and will announce the release date. Watch this space for more updates.
