Director Sundar C, known for his recent hits Aranmanai 4 and Madha Gaja Raja, is all set to launch his next film, Gangers. It's set to hit theaters on April 24 and features Sundar C and Vadivelu in the lead roles, along with Catherine Tresa in a supporting role. With the release just around the corner, Sundar is actively promoting Gangers and addressed the common criticism regarding the glamour in his films. Here’s what he had to say.

In a recent chat, Sundar C addressed the ongoing criticism regarding the glamour in his films. He pointed out that his main audience consists of children and families.

He stated, "There are no suggestive dialogues or inappropriate lyrics. Sure, the heroines might be glamorous, but the way they're presented matters. You can make someone in a saree look inappropriate just by changing the camera angle, just like you could with a gown. That’s not my style at all. I focus on capturing beauty in my work."

He mentioned that his movies don't include any rape scenes or special item numbers. When asked about Aranmanai 4, Sundar C responded, "That's just for promotional purposes. I've never included item songs where a woman dances in a club for a man."

Sundar C's Madha Gaja Raja hasn't hit OTT platforms yet, but you can catch his other movies like London, Winner, and Kalakalappu on SunNXT. This director, famous for his commercial hits, also created the social drama Sathyame Sivam / Anbe Sivam, featuring Kamal Haasan and Madhavan in the main roles.
