Director Sundar C, riding high on the success of his recent hits Aranmanai 4 (2024) and Madha Gaja Raja (2025), is set to launch a new movie called Gangers. This film features Sundar C alongside actor-comedian Vadivelu in prominent roles. Gangers is scheduled to hit theaters on April 24, and to build excitement, the team dropped the trailer on social media this past Tuesday.

Director Sundar C is set to team up with Vadivelu again after quite a while, since they last appeared together in the 2006 movie Thalai Nagaram. The new Tamil film, called Gangers, had its trailer dropped by the creators on social media this Tuesday.

The trailer kicks off with a guy talking about someone who's been causing him trouble for a while. At the same time, we see Sundar C stepping in as a physical training master at a school, having earned his position through merit, even though there's already another teacher who got in through the management route. This other instructor, played by Vadivelu, appears to be easily overshadowed by Sundar C. As the trailer unfolds, we witness a showdown between the two, suggesting that the film is a commercial entertainer. Additionally, it seems Sundar C's character has some hidden agenda, as he starts teaming up with others.

"Gangers" is both written and directed by Sundar C, with production credits going to AC Shanmugam, ACS Arunkumar, and Kushboo Sundar. The screenplay and dialogues are crafted by Venkatt Raghavan, while the music is composed by C. Sathya. E. Krishnasamy is behind the camera, and Praveen Antony takes care of the editing.

Sundar C is collaborating with Nayanthara for the sequel, Mookuthi Amman 2

Sundar C has just released the sequel Mookuthi Amman 2 and is set to work alongside Nayanthara. The cast also includes Regina Cassandra, Meena, and several others in key roles. This film, produced by Vels Film International, is the first time Sundar C and Nayanthara are teaming up.
