Sumanth Akkineni has been a part of the industry for an extended period; however, he has yet to achieve significant recognition. He is now focusing on the OTT space and will soon appear in a digital release named Anaganaga, which will be available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.

The teaser has garnered widespread interest, and according to the most recent announcement, Anaganaga is set to make its digital debut on May 9, 2025. Sumanth revealed the release date today through a special video message. Given that the film focuses on education, Sumanth also shares some valuable advice for students preparing for their exams in May 2025.

In this film, the Akkineni actor portrays a school teacher, with the screenplay and direction handled by Sunny Sanjay. The music for the film has been composed by Chandu Ravi, and the first single released has already attracted significant attention.

Anaganaga cast and crew details

Recently, ETV Win has been creating programs that emphasize strong family values, such as #90s, and this theme is also reflected in Anaganaga. In this film, Sumanth portrays a school teacher who introduces innovative teaching methods for children, yet he often faces rejection and mockery.

Anaganaga is a coming-of-age drama rich in emotion and conflict. Produced by Rakesh Reddy and Rudra Reddy, the film features cinematography by Pawan Kumar Puppala. Renowned actor Srinivasa Avasarala plays a significant role in this production, which has been developed on a very modest budget.

The creators have achieved substantial profits through the OTT agreement. However, for the actor from Sita Ramam, Anaganaga represents a critical juncture; he must secure a successful outcome at all costs, or he risks falling behind in the competitive landscape.

Sumanth, known for his role in Snehamante Idera, appeared in a supporting role in the highly successful Sita Ramam, yet that film did not advance his career. Consequently, he has placed all his expectations on Anaganaga.
