Stree 2 worldwide box office collection day 13: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's film 'Stree 2' is showing no signs of slowing down. The horror comedy, also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana is directed by Amar Kaushik. While the film has already collected ₹434.10 crores at the domestic box office, it is also doing wonders in terms of worldwide box office numbers. 

Stree 2 Worldwide Box Office Update

After 13 days in theatres, Stree 2 has moved past the ₹600 crore mark globally. The film collected ₹11.5 crore on Tuesday. The film continues to rule the box office taking full advantage of the festivals and holidays (Independence Day, Raksha Bandhan, and Janmashtami). The film has an overall occupancy of 23.39% on Tuesday. While the morning shows showed 12.44% footfall, the afternoon shows had 23.65% and evening shows had 27.71%. The film witnessed the highest occupancy at 28.74% in the night.

The film, which is a sequel to the hit film 'Stree', released in 2018, is currently The second highest grosser of the year after Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan starrer Kalki 2898 AD. 

Besides Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, Stree 2 also features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in important parts. It is a sequel to the 2018 film of the same name. The narrative of the film revolves around a new ghost named Sarkata this time. 

How much did Stree 2 earn at the domestic box office?

Stree 2 has earned around ₹434.10 in the domestic market.

Yesterday, on August 27, Rajkummar Rao shared two unseen pictures from the sets of the film and revealed that it is from one of his favourite and funniest scenes from the film. He captioned the post, "One of my favourite scenes from the film which didn't make it to the Final Cut. Kya aap log dekhna chahte hain ye scene film mein? Aap sab batao (do you guys want to see this scene in the film).

The film's director Amar Kaushik took to his comment section and wrote, "Sometime you have to kill your Darling to make screenplay work. But I agree it's a funny scene like other scenes. Jaldi kahi na kahi aa jayega."
