Stree 2 vs Khel Khel Mein vs Vedaa Box Office Clash Day 2: We are back to a sense of normalcy where big holidays call for leaves, some fun, and a whole lot of movies. This Independence Day brought patriotism and three massive films that clashed at the box office in the Hindi circuit. Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao with Shraddha Kapoor, Khel Khel Mein, led by Akshay Kumar, and Vedaa, starring John Abraham with Sharvari, all released on Independence Day 2024. These three films feature big stars from the Hindi scene and are mounted on hefty budgets. As the clash unfolds and the opening weekend progresses, it was clear even before the release which one would emerge as the winner—and you likely know which one we're talking about. Day one proved this, with the other two films struggling to stay afloat.

Stree 2 vs Khel Khel Mein vs Vedaa Box Office Clash:

To give you a clearer idea, on day one of the big box office clash, Stree 2 emerged as the winner, while Vedaa stood ahead of Khel Khel Mein by a decent margin. However, neither film could come close to the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-led movie. So, there was no real competition between Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa versus Stree 2, because the latter ran in full swing, making it impossible for the other two to catch up. Below, we provide details on where the three films currently stand. Read on to learn everything you should know about the same.

Stree 2 Box Office:

Stree 2 is a monster at the box office, unstoppable at this point. According to Sacnilk, Stree 2 earned a total of ₹76.5 crores gross on day one (including the ₹8.5 crores from the paid previews on Wednesday night) and crossed the ₹100 crore milestone on day two. The film has earned a total of ₹118 crores gross so far. On Friday, it added ₹30 crores to the total collection. However, this represents a significant drop from day one, with the movie seeing a 42.08% decline in collections.

Khel Khel Mein Box Office:

Akshay Kumar is on the verge of witnessing yet another dud film if Khel Khel Mein doesn't gain momentum over the weekend. Looking at the numbers, it seems the movie will need some magic to at least break even, if not turn into a hit. The movie, which earned around ₹5 crores on day one, only added ₹1.90 crores on the second day of release. The total collection of the film, which also stars Taapsee Pannu and Ammy Virk, now stands at ₹6.95 crores.

Vedaa Box Office:

Vedaa, starring John Abraham and Sharvari, is slightly ahead of Khel Khel Mein and has maintained its lead with an added ₹1.60 crores on day two. The movie now has a total of ₹7.90 crores at the box office. However, Vedaa is a film that must rely on word-of-mouth promotion. If that works in its favor, the movie might see better numbers over the weekend and in the coming days.
