The advance book office collections for Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's film Stree 2 have opened up and needless to say, it looks hopeful. The early estimates for Stree 2 suggest that the movie might end up earning Rs. 30 crores at the Box Office on the first day itself. Given how the Box Office trends have been slow post COVID-19, unless there's a veteran superstar involved, this might seem like a reach but given the franchise, it also is possible.

Stree 2 estimated to earn Rs 30 crores on opening day

Amar Kaushik's Stree 2, also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, is likely to earn Rs. 30 crores at the Box Office on the first day of its release, trade analyst Joginder Tuteja predicts. It is to be noted that Stree 2, along with two other movies, releases on a holiday, which is Independence Day on August 15.

Stree 2 advance Box Office collection (early trends)

According to early Box Office records for Stree 2, the movie has minted Rs. 2.47 crores. Sacnilk reports that the film's demand is best in the capital city aka Delhi. Seats worth Rs. 62.22 lacs have been booked in Delhi itself, and as many as 14 theatres are already houseful, with the other 39 filling fast. After 576 shows, it boasts the second-highest number of screens after Maharashtra (781 screens and an earning of Rs. 56.41 lacs).

Other films releasing with Stree 2, and are they competition

The other two movies releasing with Stree 2 are Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. While Stree 2 has the highest buzz, both Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa also have a fair amount of fans. Khel Khel Mein features Akshay Kumar as one of the lead actors, while Vedaa stars John Abraham in the lead role. However, given the buzz of Stree 2 and the excitement with the story that will be unveiled with the sequel, it appears that Stree 2 will have minimal competition at the Box Office and can easily earn more, if not as much as the other two films.
