Stree 2 Early Box Office Collection Day 5: Amar Kaushik's horror-comedy is making noise at the box office with its massive collections. The film starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles received positive reviews from critics and audiences. Staring its box office journey with a massive Rs. 51.8 crore on its first day of release, the film has now successfully crossed the Rs. 200 crore mark. 

Stree 2 crosses 200 crore mark at the box office

Stree 2 is a supernatural horror-comedy sequel that faced a major clash with two other Independence Day releases including Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham's Vedaa. However, the Shraddha Kapoor starrer is winning the race by a huge margin. According to the early box office reports by Sacnilk.com, the film has now earned ₹32.12 cr on its first Monday. 

The real test for any film starts on its first Monday, which is a weekday. Stree 2 now passed the Monday test with flying colors. The total collection of the film now stands at ₹223.57 cr. 

Stree 2 Vs Khel Khel Mein Vs Vedaa

While Stree 2 is leading the box office race with a massive collection, Khel Khel Mein starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, and Taapsee Pannu is currently at ₹15.57 cr, and John Abraham and Sharvari starrer Vedaa collected ₹15.1 cr.

Day 1 (Thursday) - ₹51.8 Cr

Day 2 (1st Friday) - ₹31.4 Cr

Day 3 (1st Saturday) - ₹43.85 Cr

Day 4 (1st Sunday) - ₹55.9 Cr

Day 5 (1st Monday) - ₹32.12 Cr

Total - ₹223.57 Cr

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee in important roles. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and with Stree 2 the horror comedy universe now has 4 back to back successful films in its kitty.
