Stree 2 Box Office collection day 18: Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor's film misses Rs 500 crore mark in third weekend

Stree 2 missed Rs. 500 crore-mark at the Box Office even after the third weekend. The movie was officially released on August 15, and it has minted nearly Rs. 480 crores, as per early reports. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, Stree 2 was expected to cross Rs. 500 crore-mark this weekend, and it only came close to doing so.

Stree 2 misses Rs. 500 crore-mark on day 18

Over its third weekend, Stree 2 minted Rs. 8.5 crores on Friday, Rs. 16.5 crores on Saturday and Rs. 22 crores on Sunday (as per early estimates), according to Sacnilk. The movie earned Rs. 480.05 crores over its third weekend.

Stree 2 weeks 1 and week 2 Box Office collections

Stree 2 earned Rs. 291.65 crores in the first week, with the most collections coming from first Sunday, i.e., of Rs. 55.9 crores (nearly Rs. 60 crores), followed by Rs. 51.8 crores on the first day of Thursday (Independence Day holiday). It minted Rs. 141.4 crores in week 2, with the highest collections on the second Sunday of Rs. 42.4 crores, and Rs. 33 crores on the second Saturday.

Stree 2 to become the highest-grossing film in Bollywood?

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has held the spot of the highest-grossing Bollywood film so far, at least in the post-COVID era. The movie minted Rs. 643.87 crores. With the current situation, it remains to be seen whether Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 can beat Jawan. The film, also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles, with Akshay Kumar in a cameo appearance, is on its way to cross Rs. 500 crores in week 3.

Khel Khel Mein still struggles

Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein, on the other hand, still struggles at the Box Office. The film, which was released on the same day as Stree 2, is closer to earning Rs. 30 crores. It minted Rs. 29.1 crores at the Box Office after its third weekend.
