There is no way you can poke Stranger Things fans at the moment. They are too sensitive and vulnerable to be triggered, and you are so not ready for the outburst you may witness. Season 4 was released in 2022, three years after the release of Season 3. Now, with Stranger Things Season 5 having been in production for a long time and gearing up for the final stretch, there is no clarity on when it will be released. Most of us have lost hope for a 2024 release already (but you can still surprise us, Netflix). Amid all of this, there is much curiosity about what happens in Hawkins as Vecna, now a villain who walks amongst the clique, will be explored in greater depth. But what about the returning characters? Well, it turns out someone told Joseph Quinn about our excitement. 

Eddie Munson Returns In Stranger Things 5?

Joseph Quinn is currently busy promoting his latest horror film, A Quiet Place: Day One. The actor has a lot going on, including playing Johnny Storm in The Fantastic Four at Marvel. But before these exciting life updates, he was Eddie Munson in the widely popular Stranger Things. If you can't recall, he's the rogue guitar guy who became friends with Dustin and sacrificed himself to save him in the Upside Down. The actor became an overnight sensation with the character, and fans were sad that his arc ended with that tragedy. But did it?

Well, in a world with a parallel universe, anything is possible. Recently, when Joseph Quinn was asked whether he would return to Stranger Things in Season 5, he teased the Comicbook team and the fans. "I love those guys! I'd love to say hello," Quinn said. When asked about his return and how fans are hopeful about it, he said, "I might have that feeling too. Or maybe I don't," he added with a laugh. "I don't know! Who knows?"

"I'm sure they're working very hard to land the plane. It's been a long time that they've been working on that, so I'm really delighted that they're kind of getting towards the end, and they're having a nice time,” said Joseph Quinn, reflecting on his feelings about Stranger Things Season 5 and how the team is certainly cooking up a storm for fans across the world.

About Stranger Things Season 5

Stranger Things has now moved on to a bigger, bolder, and more dangerous canvas. With the Russians now entering the game, Vecna having a body, and Will feeling its presence yet again, there is so much curiosity about what happens next. Season 5 will be the final season of the show, and this will be the last time we see the gang together. It stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, David Harbour, and Winona Ryder in leading roles.
