Lavanya Tripathi, the star heroine, is still going strong in her film career even after tying the knot. She recently revealed her upcoming project called Sathi Leelavathi, set to release in December 2024. Today, on February 3, the film kicked off production with a low-key pooja ceremony.

Dev Mohan takes on the lead role in this female-focused film, directed by Tatineni Satya and made on a reasonable budget. Sathi Leelavathi is being produced by Nagamohan Babu M and Rajesh T under the banners of Durgadevi Pictures and Trio Studios.

The film kicked off with a small launch event, featuring Varun Tej, who came to support the team and wish them well. After a significant break, Lavanya is back in a fun role in this romantic comedy. Dev Mohan mentioned that he has a big part in the film and that the story is really good, filled with lovely emotions.

After the launch, they kicked off regular filming at Ramoji Film City. Producer Nagamohan shared, “As soon as director Tatineni Satya pitched the story, we were hooked, and we knew Lavanya Tripathi was the ideal choice for the part.” Director Tatineni Satya also mentioned that the new pairing of Dev Mohan and Lavanya Tripathi, along with their chemistry, will be a standout feature of the film.

Lavanya Tripathi, who's been in the game for more than ten years, shared that finding great scripts is quite a rarity. She feels that Sathi Leelavathi fits her persona perfectly and is thrilled to collaborate with a vibrant and dynamic team. The talented Mickey J Meyer will be in charge of the music, and Binendra Mohan will take care of the cinematography. Satish Suriya is set to edit the film, and more info will be coming out soon.
