Squid Game season 2 may not have reached the heights of its predecessor, yet it continues to perform exceptionally well on over-the-top (OTT) platforms. According to Ormax Media, the series has surpassed Mismatched Season 3 during the week of December 30 to January 5. With viewership numbers three times greater than the second most-watched show of the week, Squid Game 2 stands out as the definitive leader among OTT releases for that period. Here is the complete list.

Squid Game 2 beats the second-most viewed OTT show Doctors by two-fold

No Indian series has matched the viewership of Squid Game season 2. While Sharad Kelkar's Doctors ranks as the second-most viewed series in India with 3.1 million views, Squid Game 2 stands apart with an impressive 6.5 million views. Therefore, it can be concluded that, despite any shortcomings, Squid Game 2 remains a remarkable phenomenon.

Gunaah season 2, Beast Games in top 5

Gunaah Season 2, starring Gashmeer Mahajani and Surbhi Jyoti, was one of the most anticipated shows of the year. This is evidenced by its viewership numbers, which are nearly on par with those of Doctors. With 2.9 million streams, Gunaah Season 2 ranks as the third most popular OTT series this week.

Beast Games, a reality show featuring YouTuber Mr. Beast, closely follows in fourth place with 2.7 million views. Notably, Party Till I Die has also secured a spot in the top five, accumulating 2.4 million views.

Mismatched season 3, Bandish Bandits season 2 and Yo Yo Honey Singh barely stay on the list

The enthusiasm for Mismatched appears to have waned following its third season. This week, the show featuring Rohit Saraf and Prajakta Koli garnered 1.6 million views, placing it in eighth position on the rankings. In comparison, Swipe Crime achieved 1.8 million views, while RRR: Behind and Beyond narrowly missed the top five with a total of 2.3 million views, falling short by just 0.1 million. Additionally, Bandish Bandits season 2 and Yo Yo Honey Singh matched the viewership of Mismatched season 3, attracting 1.5 million and 1.4 million streams, respectively.

Do you believe that any other show has the potential to enter the rankings in the upcoming week? If so, which one do you think it could be? We invite you to share your thoughts in the comments.
