About Khakee

Set in the early 2000s, within a city rife with power-hungry gangsters and corrupt politicians, the law frequently found it challenging to uphold order. Nevertheless, IPS Arjun Maitra was resolute in his quest to deliver justice to the citizens, even in an environment where allegiances were fickle and any companion could potentially be a hidden adversary. Central to this gripping narrative is a remarkable ensemble cast, featuring the iconic figures of Bengali cinema, Jeet and Prosenjit—affectionately referred to by their fans as Boss and Bumba Da—alongside Saswata Chatterjee and Parambrata Chatterjee. Additionally, the cast includes a formidable array of talent such as Ritwik Bhowmik, Aadil Zafar Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Shraddha Das.

"The realm of Khakee has consistently revolved around monumental conflicts, high-stakes drama, and complex characters that blur the distinctions between good and evil. With Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, we elevate this intensity to unprecedented heights," stated showrunner Neeraj Pandey in a recent announcement.

He remarked that, "Set against the vibrant setting of Kolkata, this chapter explores intense power dynamics and tracks the unwavering journey of an IPS officer who boldly confronts the system.
