Soul Stories, a brand-new Malayalam web series, is about to be released digitally soon. It has now been confirmed that Manorama Max will begin streaming the series on October 18.

Soul Stories to stream on Manorama Max

The online series was introduced during the Mazhavil Entertainment Awards 2024, which debuted on Manorama Max on September 8. Blessy, director of Aadujeevitham, unveiled the trailer for the web series at the event. On October 18, Soul Stories will be available on the platform starting at 12 am. This is the platform's first original Malayalam web series this year.

Several Malayalam web series were made available on digital platforms this year. On October 11, Saiju Kurup's political satire Jai Mahendran will make its premiere on Sony LIV. Another project with Neena Gupta and Rahman in the key roles is called 1000 Babies, and it will soon be accessible on Disney+ Hotstar.

What is Soul Stories all about?

The latest teaser for this web series shows snippets of each episode. Suhasini appears to be a middle-aged lady who yearns to live life on her terms, whereas Anarkali Marikar is shown as a young woman in turmoil following an assault. It also suggests that one of the episodes will have a narrative about parents trying to understand their teenage daughter. The trailer mentions a few poignant and thought-provoking moments when women are the main characters.

The four episodes of the web series helmed by Sanil Kalathil, it was disclosed, each focused on interesting subjects related to women and different expectations placed on them by patriarchal society. Anarkali Marikar, Renji Panicker, RJ Karthik, Wafa Khatheeja, Asha Madathil, and Gopika Manjusha are among the cast members of the web series. During the awards ceremony, the veteran actress said that this production had offered her the chance to dub for the first time for her Malayalam character.
