Sorgavaasal: Plot, cast, and crew
The film directed by Sidharth Vishwanth centres on Parthiban, the proprietor of a modest eatery, who finds himself falsely accused of the murder of a high-ranking official. Following his remand, he is transferred to a prison notorious for housing Siga, a powerful drug lord. Siga's inner circle includes Kendrick, an African man who speaks of Christian prophecies, and Tiger Mani, a merciless enforcer. RJ Balaji portrays Parthiban, while the role of Siga is played by actor-filmmaker Selvaraghavan.
In addition to RJ Balaji and Selvaraghavan, Sorgavaasal boasts an extensive ensemble cast featuring Karunas, Samuel Abiola Robinson, Hakkim Shah, Natarajan Subramaniam, Saniya Iyappan, Sharaf U Dheen, Balaji Sakthivel, Ravi Raghavendra, Santhana Bharathi, Anthonythasan Jesuthasan, among others in supporting roles. The musical score and songs are composed by Christo Xavier, with Prince Anderson serving as the director of photography.
