Sookshmadarshini is all set for its OTT launch this weekend! The mystery thriller featuring Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim Fahadh will hit Disney+ Hotstar on Saturday, January 11, 2024. Directed by MC Jithin, the film is anticipated to premiere at midnight on that date. Viewers can catch it in five languages: Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Sookshmadarshini: Storyline, cast, and team

A darkly comedic mystery thriller follows Priyadarshini, or Priya, who enjoys a blissful life with her husband Antony and their young daughter Kani. She has a solid bond with the women in her neighborhood. When Manuel, the owner of Grace Bakers, moves in with his elderly mother, Grace, he quickly wins over the locals. However, Priya starts to feel uneasy about him and takes it upon herself to investigate, uncovering some unsettling secrets along the way.

Nazriya Nazim Fahadh takes on the role of Priya in the movie, with Basil Joseph playing Manuel. Deepak Parambol portrays Priyadarshini’s husband, Antony, while Sidharth Bharathan, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, Merin Philip, Manohari Joy, and others round out the supporting cast.

The script for Sookshmadarshini is a collaboration between Athul Ramachandran and Libin TB. Christo Xavier is responsible for the film's songs and original score, and Sharan Velayudhan is in charge of the cinematography. Editing duties were handled by Chaman Chakko. The film is produced by AVA Productions and Happy Hours Entertainment.
