Created by A-1 Pictures, Solo Leveling has enjoyed a fantastic run on Crunchyroll, racking up over 700,000 ratings on the platform. It has quickly become one of the most beloved anime series ever, making it likely that more seasons are on the horizon. Right after the first season wrapped up, the creators were quick to announce Season 2.
However, things seem a bit different this time, as there’s been no news about Season 3 yet. Fans might need to be patient for the next episodes. Although there’s no official word, the animation producer for Solo Leveling recently hinted at what’s next for the show. In a chat with Sally Amaki on Crunchyroll's YouTube channel, Atsushi Kaneko mentioned that the series “will come to an end, for now.”
When asked if this ending is permanent, Kaneko admitted, “I honestly don't know what the future will bring,” and added, “With the encouragement and support of everyone watching, it may continue, or it may not.” He expressed his personal hope for the series to go on and thanked the fans, saying, “This anime has made it this far thanks to all of you, so I hope you will keep supporting us even after the final episode.”
