While several Bengali serials are getting axed within a few months of starting, Sohag Chand completed its 600th episode. This is a milestone in such a bleak time and hence deserves celebration. The cast and crew of the serial celebrated the success by cutting cakes. This popular Colors Bangla mega deals with the issue of body positivity. Anwesha Mukhopadhyay and Abhishek Veer Sharma play the leads here, playing Sohag and Chand respectively. 

The cast and crew celebrated the day together by reminiscing about the starting days. The celebration took place on the set, amidst lights, cameras, and action. The serial started on November 28, 2022. People loved the romance between plus-sized Sohag and fitness freak Chand. They are childhood friends and neighbors. Sohag is a bank employee who has been rejected by 34 prospective grooms because of her weight. But she doesn’t want to be a conventional beauty. She believes that one who will love her will find her inner beauty. Chand wants to open a sports academy and wants to have a beautiful girl with a perfect figure. But the story takes a turn and these two people get involved with each other. 

Many tides and lows happened in their lives. They got separated and met again after six years. Sohag’s life is centered around her daughter Chorki whom she single-handedly brings up. Chand comes to know who Chorki’s mother is, but he doesn’t yet know who the father is. He has yet to know that Chorki is his daughter. When will Chand know this? Will Sohag and Chand be united again?
