Akshay Kumar's upcoming patriotic film, Sky Force, is set to release in theaters on January 24, 2025. Before that, next week, directors Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur will shoot an extravagant promotional song to kick things off. According to Mid Day, Akshay, Nimrat Kaur, and Veer Pahariya—who's making his acting debut—will be in Mussoorie for four days to film. There are also whispers about a big-name actor possibly making a cameo, which has everyone buzzing with excitement.

An insider from the Dinesh Vijan production team revealed that they’ve included a song as part of the film's marketing strategy. Their goal is to craft a captivating artistic and musical experience that connects with the audience ahead of the film's release on January 24. While filming is set to kick off on December 18, the groundwork is being laid much earlier. Creative producer Amar Kaushik and the directing duo are gearing up to start pre-production this week. The source mentioned that the song will showcase some of the most beautiful locations in Mussoorie.

Previously, a source shared with Pinkvilla that Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and the crew feel that Sky Force is an ideal film to debut on Republic Day. It’s filled with patriotism, emotional depth, drama, and action. Notably, the story unfolds during India’s first airstrike on Pakistan.

The trailer will be released around Christmas.

The insider mentioned that the movie perfectly captures the emotions surrounding India's first surgical strike and includes some stunning aerial shots. Fans are going to love how the Khiladi is portrayed and the chemistry between Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya is sure to impress. Maddock plans to drop the theatrical trailer around Christmas 2024, even though the film itself won’t hit theaters until January 24, 2025. The buzz suggests that the marketing campaign will last a month, with the trailer serving as an exciting kickoff for Sky Force.

Sky Force will be Akshay's first release of 2025, and it’s said to delve into the 1965 Indo-Pakistan war and India's inaugural airstrike.
