January 2025 is shaping up to be a super hectic month for Hindi films, with fresh releases hitting theaters every Friday. As we get closer to the second-to-last Friday, excitement is building for an Akshay Kumar film, which will be his first of the year. Sky Force, featuring Veer Pahariya in his debut role, is scheduled to hit the big screen on January 24, and there's a lot of buzz surrounding it. With the release date approaching, more info is coming out about the movie, like its CBFC rating and runtime.

Sky Force's rating and runtime have been announced

Sky Force features Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur in leading roles, and it's an action-packed drama focused on the Air Force, directed by Sandeep Kewlani. The trailer just dropped and got a great reaction, so the team is working hard to keep the excitement going. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande, the film has a UA 13+ rating from the CBFC, which should help it reach a wider audience.

Also, the runtime for Sky Force has been announced, clocking in at a surprisingly brief 125 minutes (2 hours and 5 minutes), which could make it one of the shortest films Akshay Kumar has done in a while. Still, the producers haven't officially confirmed this yet.

The Drama Surrounding the Bigg Boss 18 Finale

The film recently grabbed attention when the Sky Force team showed up at the Bigg Boss Season 18 finale to promote their movie. According to reports, Akshay Kumar, who’s known for being on time, arrived as scheduled but had to leave after waiting an hour for Salman Khan, who was running late.

"True to his reputation for punctuality, Akshay got to the set around 2:15 pm, but Salman was still a no-show. After waiting for an hour, Akshay had to leave for a trial screening of Jolly LLB 3. Even though there were several calls asking him to come back, he decided to stick to his plans and left without filming," a source shared with an online media.

Salman Khan cleared things up later in the episode, mentioning, "Akki (Akshay Kumar) is part of the film too. He arrived a bit late and had to rush off to another event, so he had to go."

Sky Force is scheduled to premiere in theaters on January 24, 2025.
