Sky Force box office earnings on day 7: Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, the action-drama flick Sky Force hit theaters on January 24, just in time for Republic Day. As reported by Sacnilk, the film, featuring Akshay Kumar, newcomer Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan in the main roles, has raked in more than ₹85 crore net at the Indian box office.
Sky Force's earnings at the box office
On the seventh day since its release, Sky Force raked in about ₹5.13 crore net in India, bringing its total earnings to around ₹86.13 crore net. The film kicked off strong with ₹12.25 crore net on its opening day and pulled in ₹22 crore and ₹28 crore over its first weekend. Throughout its first week, it continued to perform well, earning ₹7 crore, ₹5.75 crore, and ₹6 crore, successfully surpassing the ₹80 crore milestone at the Indian box office. It's getting closer to that impressive ₹100 crore mark, with total worldwide earnings hitting ₹92.90 crore by Monday, as reported by the producers, Maddock Films.

About Sky Force
Sky Force tells the story of India's attack on Pakistan's Sargodha airbase during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war. The film is a collaboration between Jio Studios and Maddock Films. Akshay Kumar stars as Wing Commander Kumar Om Ahuja, a character inspired by Om Prakash Taneja VRC, while Veer plays T Krishna Vijaya, also known as Tabby, based on Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya MVC.
Veer shared his experience of meeting the family of the late Devayya with ANI, saying, “I was fortunate to meet the family that inspired this film. Mrs. Devayya, who is 90, and her daughters watched it and told me I did justice to the role. Hearing that my hard work paid off is the best reward for me. Knowing they felt proud and happy after seeing the movie means everything.”
