Sivakarthikeyan's new movie with Sudha Kongara has kicked off, and it's set to star Jayam Ravi and Atharvaa.

The highly anticipated release of SK 25, featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, happened on Saturday, December 14. The banners at the event revealed that Jayam Ravi and Atharvaa will also be part of the cast, with Sudha Kongara directing the film.

Sivakarthikeyan, who recently appeared in Amaran, is getting ready for his next project with director Sudha Kongara. Currently titled SK 25, the film is being produced by Dawn Pictures, the same team behind Dhanush’s Idly Kadai.

In SK 25, Sivakarthikeyan takes the lead, making this his first time working with Sudha Kongara. Alongside him, actors Jayam Ravi and Atharvaa will also have significant roles. Aakash Baskaran is producing this film, which will be Dawn Pictures' second venture after Idly Kadai.

Reports suggest that SK 25 is based on the script Sudha Kongara initially planned for actor Suriya, but he had to step away due to scheduling issues. Now, the director is moving forward with Sivakarthikeyan, and Jayam Ravi is rumored to be the villain. Additionally, Sreeleela is expected to take on the female lead, marking her debut in Tamil cinema. The film will feature music by GV Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Ravi Chandran. Notably, this will be Sivakarthikeyan’s second project with GV Prakash Kumar following Amaran.

Sivakarthikeyan's Tamil movie Amaran is now available for streaming on Netflix. This biopic tells the story of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan and features Sai Pallavi alongside him, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The film received a warm welcome from audiences when it was released. It's produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.

On another note, Sivakarthikeyan is also working on a project with AR Murugadoss, but the release date for that film hasn't been revealed yet.
