Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who recently appeared in Amaran, has been actively supporting films through his production company, Sivakarthikeyan Productions. Some notable projects include the well-received Kanaa and Kottukkaali. On Wednesday, the production house revealed that it will be releasing House Mates, a new horror fantasy film featuring Darshan in the lead role. Interestingly, Darshan was also part of Kanaa, which marked the banner's first production.

Sivakarthikeyan to showcase Darshan’s House Mates

We previously shared that Darshan's upcoming film House Mates will blend horror and comedy with fantasy elements. The first look of the film was released by the creators earlier. In addition to Darshan, Kaali Venkat plays an important role, while Arsha Chandini Baiju, Vinodini, Dheena, Abdool Lee, and Master Henrik will also be featured in key roles.

Sivakarthikeyan Productions is set to release the film. In their announcement, they shared, “We saw it and enjoyed every moment. The fresh concept, the entertainment value, and the genuine effort from this new team really impressed us, and we knew we had to bring it to the audience.” The release date for the film has not been revealed yet.

House Mates explores the everyday emotions of a middle-class family living in an apartment complex. The film is written and directed by T. Raja Vel, who has previously collaborated as a co-director with Ajay Gnanamuthu and contributed to the writing of Demonte Colony 2.

most of them can be found on OTTplay Premium. Sivakarthikeyan made his debut as a producer with the 2018 Tamil sports drama Kanaa, directed by Arunraja Kamaraj and featuring Aishwarya Rajesh. You can stream this film on SonyLIV, along with Vaazhl, a drama starring TJ Bhanu and Pradeep, among others.

Last year, his production company released two films, Kurangu Pedal and Kottukkaali, both of which received critical acclaim on the festival circuit and are available for streaming on Aha Tamil.
